Funny this is being backed by EA, and yet look at BF2 and BF 203812012344232 they both violated many of these rules.

    http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/09/01/ga...bill_of_rights/

The full Gamer’s Bill of Rights is listed below:

    1. Gamers shall have the right to return games that don't work with their computers for a full refund.

    2. Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state.

    3. Gamers shall have the right to expect meaningful updates after a game's release.

    4. Gamers shall have the right to demand that download managers and updaters not force themselves to run or be forced to load in order to play a game.

    5. Gamers shall have the right to expect that the minimum requirements for a game will mean that the game will adequately play on that computer.

    6. Gamers shall have the right to expect that games won't install hidden drivers or other potentially harmful software without their express consent.

    7. Gamers shall have the right to re-download the latest versions of the games they own at any time.

    8. Gamers shall have the right to not be treated as potential criminals by developers or publishers.

    9. Gamers shall have the right to demand that a single-player game not force them to be connected to the internet every time they wish to play.

    10. Gamers shall have the right that games which are installed to the hard drive shall not require a CD/DVD to remain in the drive to play.

Dammit Bubba, now I gotta clean up a spit-take!

It would be far easier to list which one of these EA DIDN'T break with BF2.

Say, anyone know if Dice is involved with BF3? I'm starting to think that if we can't get rid of EA's involvement with Battlefield, at least we can ditch the ass-clowns at Dice.

Friggin' air whores. . . server browser. . .broken patches. . . mumble mumble. . .his back was turned to me, how am I dead?!?!

EA's backing that? Must be more of that marketing double speak. You know, where they contradict themselves when they talk out both sides of their ass simultaneously....

    Yeap.

Btw, what are you guys going to do is BF3 is as rumored to only be released for consoles? Give up on it or buy a 360 or xbox?

Anyone else notice how badly consoles have killed our PC game servers over the last 12-18 months.

I am not going to a console, and I am no longer all that entranced by the battlefield series. I skipped BF 2310283490, I can skip BF3

Actually, iirc, DICE is working on a PC battlefield game. There was an interview about BF Heroes a bit ago where the guy said that they are working on like 5 games right now, one of which was aimed at the "hardcore PC crowd". Somewhere around here there is a short thread on the subject....

    here it is: /forums/battlefield/and-the-surprise-news-of-the-year-award-goes-to-5265/" target="_blank">/forums/battlefield/and-the-surprise-news-of-the-year-award-goes-to-5265/

We're addicts. Just as you bought UT1234567890, we will buy BF1234567890.

Yah, I'll buy the PC versions of both, but not a console. Just can't see myself deserting my PC mates 🙂
