Saw this on Bluesnews......pretty cool, they are doing a multi part series on the maps for BF2:

All this week, GameSpy will venture into the Battlefield with in-depth looks at the 12 multiplayer maps to be featured in Battlefield 2.

Out of the 3 they previewed, the 3rd is the only one that looks really good to me, I am NOT a fan of non-captureable spawn points. The other 2 look lopsided to me due to the static US base.....

Do you all want me to post links to the rest of the articles as they come out?

Sure, might as well re-post in in General forum, Battelfield also.

Is it me or are there too many maps with uncapable spawns????

Don't all the maps have uncappable spawns? I haven't checked out all of the screenshots, but it seems to be the trend. On the demo at least, the uncappable spawn has stuff you can go in and blow up like the radar and artillery pieces.

One thing I noticed last night while messing around on the demo was that in the Harrier I was getting a lock on the top of the oil tower at the MEC main base. When I tried to unload a missle on it, I couldn't hit it.

Yeah you can blow up the radar, the ops chack and artillery, but they respawn WAY TOO FAST! 🙁

They don't respawn the other team fixes them!

Thanks for the info! I wondered how they spawned so fast!

Damn there is A LOT to learn yet!!!!!!

I wish they had used the BFV style spawn points. I hate whinners and having main bases capturable made the game move along faster. Nothing is worse than having all the flags and having to sit there and pound the uncapturable base for 20 minutes to end a match.....
