Man that is one In depth site. It even gives you the minimap resources. I wish I could have a custom minimap for my maps.

Raze already found the location for his next map. Hover your mouse over the very bottom map; the one that comes to a point. How does Operation Tan Hung Dong sound?

I'm serious about the map too. 🙂

It's easy, you got photoshop, winrfa, and the dds plugin.

Not the only way, just the way I did it to not have problems.

    1)Extract the "mapname"/textures/ingamemap.dds with winrfa

2)Open it with photoshop (with the dds plugin) and edit it to your likeing and then save it. (Be sure to use MIP maps, I think this allows the zoom)

    3)Import it with battlecraft.

    That's it!

I dont have Photoshop, and Scott said something about it being confusing. Raze, do you think you could make them for our maps? If so what all do you need?

For the soon to be renamed Dusk till Dawn, It needs moved down and zoomed in, and if possible a better pic. Let me know.

5 maps in progress

Well I don't know of any way to actually move and zoom the maps. The plugin instructions on the nvidia page says it works with Paint Shop Pro as well.

You can get a full featured trial version from http://www.jasc.com

As for putting them in, well. I'm kinda short on time to do anything at the moment. Too many things going on right now. Heck I even missed last friday's scrimmage due to the things going on.

I hear ya. Ill try and mess with it, but from the looks of this crazyness, I doubt I can do it. Whats with the multiple shrinking pics? Do I have to paint each one?

No, say no to opening the dds file for showing the mips layers. when you save the file, save using mips map and that creates the multiple shrinking pics.
