Guadal'Nam Problem

As some of you very well know in some instances in guadal, you spawn in unlikely places. I'm using the standard towers to spawn people much like in flaming dart. I didn't want to place a flag and BFV doesn't appear to accept spawnpoints not connected to a flag like BF42 did. The thing is, these towers seem to spawn you in various locations at various distances. This is a problem on both ends of the map, although it isn't as serious on the US side. I figured that the spawing happens in a 180 degree area from the tower (could be narrower). Now I'd like to narrow this down. I can't rotate the tower or you end up spawing over the ocean. Have any of you reconfigured the tower to spawn "closer"? I'll continue to research, but if one of you guys already know a fix, please let me know.

    Thanks...

I wish I could help. I had that problem, so I switched to the tower without spawn capabilities, but I dont know if you can blow it up.

If you want a spawn area without a flag, could you use the crate / tunnel, and try to seal them up so they cant be moved?

EURIKA! I got it. Quicker than I tought I could. I found the tower objects in the games's objects.rfa. Extracted them. Found the spawn distances for the soldiers in them and changed them. There were about 5-7 random spawn locations which were all on one side. I changed the distance to be substancially closer to the tower so you don't get weird random spawn locations. I inserted the objects in my map preserving the objects file structure and then had my init.con call the new tower objects.

    YEA!

Plus while I was editing the file I finally put in the cool water... I'll see if I can rush the file to Atomm's house.
