I think DICE did this on purpose to simulate equipment malfunctions and dud rounds 😉
Not to mention that they new it would make AT players crazy :computer:
It's odd to me that it only happens sometimes and not always or never. It must occur with the right combination of moving vehicles, angles of impact, and "holes" in the collision mesh or whatever it is called.
On the first video, there was a hole in the tank that went all the way through to the back.
On the second video, you'll notice the passenger door fly open, then the drivers door flew open, the rocket went through the cab, the driver slammed his door shut to protect from spalsh damaage and the rocket hit the wall. ;-)
