Instructions For Creating A Shortcut To Desert Conflict

    Ok, I have the instructions all set up. Here is a screenshot of how to make it work correctly.

    Copy your shortcut for BF2.
    Right Click
    Click Properties.
    Paste this into the Target Box: C:GamesBF2BF2.exe +modPath mods/dcon +menu 1 (make sure the path to BF2.exe matches your own system).
    Click Apply.
    Click OK.
    Right Click.
    Click Rename.
    Rename to CTF or DCon or something that you can figure out what it is.

    Launch game from the new icon.
    Make sure Game Mode is CTF.
    Select all 3 map sizes.
    Select Same Mod.
    Click Apply Filters.

    That should do it. These guys really should include this in their next version. It would help them get more players.

    Bubba, try this and see if it makes any difference. I noticed a few things didn't work until I did exactly these things.

    Ok I'll try it damn you haven't played BF2 in weeks, not sure I want to break the trend. With my new found time I have built several pieces of furniture, Played with my cats more, gone to more meetings, watched many more Simpsons episodes, made many many maps, gotten to bed at a reasonable time, been more responsible around the house and found a new job. Is it really worth it to go back to the game??

    keep in mind not all change the default location to c:games...
