I think it is interesting and gives me hope for better things.

Looks like DICE may be working on a new patch and a new map. What exactly it is or when we will see it is anyone's guess.

Oh! I admit I was not sure what that was about.
new maps? Wow. I heard rumors that for $10 you can get 3 new ranked maps. Probably just rumors.

Saw on PBF that there are more confirmed sightings of this. also the game mode was "infantry only" - not sure what that is all about, but it's getting me excited.

Oh yea... Now I am getting really, really excited..... I said all along that the air vehicles ruined this game. That is why city maps without air are some of the most played maps....

I have no problem with air maps as long as you have some good pilots on your side. Air maps suck when the other team has guys in the air and you have no one to go after them then it is just a bombing fest for them. I HATE when you get totally raped by a helo and no one on your team jumps on the AA or gets a few At guys after them. Sometimes your team does try but still gets raped, man those are frustrating 😉

Over all I like seeing helo's and jets in the air, kind of cool. Just needs balance.

Yeah, I don't mind the air power when it is balanced either by competant pilots or ground-to-air capabilities. It is those rounds where you can't move without being raped or bombed that piss me off. It does however say something that by far the most popular maps in BF2 are Karkand, Mashtuur and Sharqui
