Last night was probably the most fun battlefielding that I have ever had . Every map that I played was a blast. I was so in the zone that one map I just owned. 0 deaths all kills and flag captures It was a tank map and I even made Atomm look like a newb.8) Only problem is that map only lasted about 5 minutes. I got so excited that the next match I had some problems with trying to shoot bubba. "sorry bubba" I think I shot you a half a dozen times.:roll: Then"The Swamp" happened. FOr the first 5 minutes of the map, I didn't see anyone but my own teammates. Occasionally I would be picked off never knowing what happened. I was starting to get frustrated after the night I was having prior. After about 5 deaths never seeing the enemy 1 time, i changed my approach. For the next 10-15 minures I must have gotten back into my zone because all I could do was find the enemy, headshot in my crosshairs at that. I went on a slaughter!
Again, last night was a blast, and I hope there are plenty of those to come!
I agree, I had a blast as well, although I wasn't anywhere near "the zone" you were in. The only map that I didn't like was the Omaha beach one which seems (as Duck pointed out before) to have ticket bleed and flag capping issues.
Mike, I especially appreciated the Bayonet kill from behind. I'm sure it was more fun for me than you. :-)
Yea, last night was so freaking great! I have an idea. I have business travel over the next few days and we haven't done much in the way of custom maps. How about we do BG42 again next Friday?
Raze, this will give us time to check our your latest map and make sure it is good to go for our blowout. You ok with that?
I checked a few custom maps for BFV tonight, and they continue the trend that we have seen all along from most of the mappers out there in that they (mostly) were complete crap. I looked at 6. 1 wouldn't load, 1 lagged so hard it was like watching a slide show, 1 just plain sucked. 1 is a possible ok map, and 2 were worth playing.
You know when your in the groove when someone kills you and it comes as a shock to you. Being so intent on your target that you don't realize your about to die, then WHAM, K-bar.
Good game fellas, lets set em up and do it again.
Will push for more players next week, 4 that said they were coming did not, so it's time to go gather some-more people.
no doubt it was fun, I think maybe a littel more promotion, or at least the same (I know sarge said he did alot). Definatly at Drunken Masters, and BG42's site, alot of them showed up last week. I will see if I can't get the BOS guys to download it and enjoy with us.
I enjoyed the fraggin also. That was the first time I got to play BG with more than a couple of players. If I am not out of town with work, I'll back back fraggin with yall next Friday!
