Lets Play Some CTF This Week

    I haven't played CTF in a bit, lets get our server going this week.

    Anyone else up for it?

    Will likely play every night this week for a while, although I may not be able to get on until after 10:00 PM many times.

    It sucks you cannot get on earlier. I go to bed at 10:30p usually. Hey I am old what can I say and work comes early. 😉

    Why don't we advertise that it is there on some BF2 forums? We just need a volunteer <caugh-docjon> that is registered on many of them and likes to post. Just tell everyone it is there and open to the public.

    I probably can get on earlier some nights, but with everything that I have going on it is tough except for Fridays which have been designated as a gaming night.

    I have posted info on a couple of clan sites, but it helps if we have something specific in mind for times to draw people in. On the other hand, general knowledge of the server being out there will help as well. What I did on the clan sites was post saying hey this is our server and what we are running, and when we try to play. I also said I would update when things change. We could do the same at PBF and Total BF2, but update more often as things tend to get buried.

    Do we have the custom map packs installed on our server? If not can we add them? There are also a lot of other maps http://totalbf2.filecloud.com/?user_category_id=179625 besides the map packs that can be had.

    There are not a lot of servers running them. Maybe that can be something to draw players in.

    I would love to play some myself. I am kind of sick of the stock ones. If we can get some good scrims or casual play going with them, it would be a lot of fun I bet.

    CTF is good for me. We need to see if the server is going to crash again. :-)

    If it does, I say we move on to the other provider. No use in having a server that crashes all the time when it doesn't have too.

    Not sure when I'll be on tonight, but if it is at a reasonable hour I will sit on our CTF server and try and get something going. At the worst it may allow me to work out this whole voice control thing 🙂
