I've brought it up before (years...) but take a look at NF - free to play (and also buy points to buy other boats) easy to learn WWII ship combat game.

I just re-installed it and spent an hour or two getting back up to speed.
Think about it, may be good for a spin.

Ya so first time i downloaded it, the setup was incomplete..finally got it to download and now it wont let me log in. The server wont accept the password that i used in set up. There is no forgot password option...

I think perhaps this is a sign
