New BF2 Bug?

There's been a few times recently where I've been revived and had a different kit than when I died. I thought that it was just that I had died on top of someone else and because my TS key was mapped to the "pickup kit" key, I was swapping. Turns out that may not be the case.

It was the 1.4 patch fix for the revive and no weapon bug.

You die.
Someone steals your kit.
There kit fades away then someone comes by and revives you:

1.3 You would run around like a scare crow with no weapon.

1.4 They have code for all players to have weapons when revived. May not be your kit but you won't be empty handed either.

That is what I always thought Sarge! This is so stupid though, they cannot keep track of what kit you are? They cannot look at your "currently selected" kit and just give that one back to you, it has to be random?
