In 1968, US Marines at the Green River Firebase were overrun by NVA forces. Due to the rainy season, air support and heavy armor were useless. The only thing standing between the NVA amphibious units and the US supply lines was a small USN PBR group based on the Green River area of the Mekong delta.
This map emphasizes the use of the PBR in it's designed role. Patrolling the rivers looking for troop and weapon movements. Many of the flags on this map must be reached on foot, and those foot paths are dangerously close to the watchful eyes of US Navy PBR crews. The river areas are wide enough to actually use a PBR and not beach it after 5 seconds as is the case on most current BFV maps. The NVA units as well get a PBR-type patrol boat for use against the USN detachment. There is a single neutral flag on the map at a tribal relic, controlling this flag gives the USA a transport Huey at the damaged firebase. If the NVA gains control of the relics, they recieve an amphibious tank. Either of these units can turn the tide of battle and require specific player kits to come into play.
