Only 128 days until I'm a Corporal!

http://bf2s.com/ does a pretty good job of laying out your BF2 stats. In addition, they have an estimate of the time it's going to take you to rank up. In only 128 days I can be a corporal! In just over 700 days, I can be a Staff Sergeant!

Is it me, or is this a little over the top? I understand EA not wanting everyone to rank up in a month, but over 2 years for me to go up two levels?

Ouch. Maybe I just need to play medic from now on 😉

I have noticed how difficult it is to get repair and other support points compared to heal points. The most repair points I ever got on a map was 8 and I spent the whole round in a blackhawk repairing the thing.

How is one supposed to go about unlocking the extra weapons? I have YET to figure this *gheyness* known as ranked servers out!!!

Hey a rank er a mean ranked server question. Do your points follow you from rank(d') server to rank(d') server?

Wouldn't that suck is your points earned were just local to the server and not community wide.

They follow you....rank is same on any ranked server. 🙂 That is the one small part I HAVE figured out! 🙂

OK, so first rank up is about 500 pts. At that point there is no unlock. Then at about 1000 points you will rank up again. This time you get a weapon unlock. But you won't get it until you start the game the next time. When you astart the game it'll ask you which weapon you want to unlock. There is one "unlock" weapon per kit, so there is a unlock sniper rifle, one unlock assult weapon...etc. Once you have unlocked your weapon, then we you are at the spawn page you can switch between the regular and unlocked weapon. You can ue this Unlocked weapon on any ranked server you play on.

Once you have the unlocked weapon, there is a button on your kit selection area that allows you to switch from the standard equipment to the "upgrade". The attached chart breaks down the differences which are slight in most cases. I think the chart was originally done by whopper at TPF

According to the damage charts the Special Ops Unlock doesnt do much more.. but I swear in-game it seems much much better..

You get an unlock at each level after you hit 1,000 So at Corporal you'll get another..

I still think this whole rank, unlock thing is a bunch of BS.
