I played an hour of UT2004 Onslaught this weekend and had a blast. I normally don't care for it much, but there was a map called AirMars or something to that affect.
It was like something straight out of Flash Gordon.... You had capture points on different ships and platforms. Some were inside the ship and some were outside. There were 2 kinds of flying vehicles and gun turrets on the ships/platforms for defense. It was really, really cool.
If we are looking for something different, this is deffinately a change of pace.
For those of you not familiar with Onslaught, it is a push system using Power Cores. The object is to create a path to your opponents powercore. Once you have done that, you can start destroying their power core. All points along the path can be taken/destroyed by both sides as long as it is connected to the appropriate path. The key is the power core can not be healed in any way.
So, Thursday Night, what about doing some Onslaught on this AirMars map?
