I played a few games on the =PBF= (Planet Battlfield Forums) server last night, the first time in a long time. There was some nice team play going on for awhile, and I got to game with a few guys I've seen on the PBF forum a lot.
It was interesting to see that some guys I had a less-than-positive impression of (like that guy with the effiminate goth-metal boy-band in his sig) played well, and stayed together as a squad. Good games.
Later, a few of them left, and I ended up a on a team with 4 squads, one of which was a 2-man attack chopper, one was a squad leader in a jet, and a third was a sniper far from the action. . .The fourth was full 🙁
At this point, I played solo. Still a decent game, as no one was acting like a jerk. In the last game on Gulf of Oman, the Attack chopper was a problem, but at least I saw ppl jumping in the AA in several of the bases to keep them busy. Zissky and I took a few flags in a tank & APC, even though we weren't squadded up.
The worst problem I saw was in Oman, we didn't have a pilot to keep the air balanced, but that happens on a lot of servers.
I'll be visiting there again, if I find it populated. . .maybe tonight.
