PBF Gaming Night

    Just to let y'all know that (hopefully) quite a few of the heavy hittin' hardcore BF2 players from PBF are planning to get together on the GRB CAT server this coming Monday (the 7th) at 10pm Eastern.

    I thought it'd be nice if a few CAT's and GRB could make it to 1/ Show em what we're made of and 2/ Act as admins and keep things running smoothly.

    I'm kinda hoping that this will help get some traffic on the server and I think if we can provide a good environment for these guys as well as demonstrate our 1337 sk1llz then we may see a lot of them coming back.

    Just as a bit of background: The organiser is Huntsman, a fellow moderator at PBF, who has handpicked a few mature, regular players who are interested in playing the game right from the rest of the chaff that frequents PBF. Many of them are sick of the crap you get on pub servers and sick of kiddy admins on the private ones. They just want to play with and against people they know and respect. I think the plan is to make this a regular thing.

    Unfortunately I can't make it myself (10pm EST equates to 3am here: A little past my bedtime!) but again, it would be great to see a good showing from CAT and GRB.

    Hope to see many a tale of GRB and CAT prowess on the PBF boards come Tuesday morning.

    For those that don't know: [CAT] was born out of PBF and while the rest of CAT have moved on I am unable to let go.

    I've always had that problem. I still sleep with Duck. I dunno if he's any relation to the Duck posting here. He's about 8 inches tall, fuzzy and has big feet. Ring any bells Duck?

    This went fairly well last night. Lots of decent players, a few whores of various varieties, and a tard or two but overall very few "issues" with anyone and some good games. This may become a regular thing...

    cool, dsorry couldn't make it, still in the process of rebuilding my house. On small project that had led to a complete renovation it seems

    the one thing I have on my side is we don't have moeny to do anymore work around the house

    Looks like a few will be on again tonight if any of you GRB's are up for it.

    Any admins on keep your eye on Irish and HatchetX. Seems they REALLY like flying helos and will do almost anything to ensure they get to fly together.
