I get PC Gamer in the mail. It's usually a bit ahead of the news stands. This month issue features 2 character guides through level 60. One is a Night Elf Tanker. The other is an Undead Priet.
It does a good job of mapping our your character development and how to play it. I thought someone might be interested in this, especially Breaky.

Cool. I think it is perfect for what you talked about doing. I wish they had something like this for other characters. I've seen websites with templates, but I don't know how to weed the idiots from the guys who actually know what they are doing.

Yea, I've been through thottbot.com. I don't care for the hunter info. It seems to be somewhat incomplete, unless I missing something.
The thing about the magazine article is it tells you exactly how to spend your points to achieve a certain type of character. It even goes into how to spend talent points at what level and how to play the character at that level. I would almost take a tank based on the article. It was a tank designed for nothing other than dealing the absolute most damage per second. It was the most complete article I have read on character development. Seriously, anyone playing a Tank class should consider reading it. I didn't read as much on the Undead Priest, but it seemed to be the exact same layout.
That's really what I am looking for. A complete roadmap and how to play it. I'm no good at developing a character ahead of time. I don't think it through like this article did. I usually make stupid mistakes and short of starting a new character, waste points. If I could find a character guide like that, I would buy it in a second.
I found a guy(NPC) that would do that but it cost a crap load. And everytime you did it the price went up. Maybe it'll change.
Yea, I read that is was expensive. Even so, it's still worth it to not have to start over from scratch.
