Well I beat the game last night on the regular setting and heres my thoughts.
Although a very very fun game, It was pretty short. Im not sure how long I spent on COD1 to beat it, but I know it took alot longer than this. When you step it up a level to Hardened, does it add more people to fight or just make them more accurate?
Even with more people to kill I dont think that would add that much time. I figured the Russian one would be over quick because you were them most of part 1, but I never thought the US campaign would only be 3 levels. No Willy Jeep run either?!!!
On the British campaign ( longest and probably the best ) you got to do a pretty good ride along, and you get to drive this SWEET A$$ Tank. It was reelllly funny. Im in a line with like 25+ tanks all in a row, shooting across this huge desert. and Everytime I hit a Panzer, it said " Their armor is strong on the front blah blah" So I was like screw this and went BF-1942 on 'em.
Hauled ass across the field, flanked right and the drove a straight line behind 'em. 1 shot to the back x 20 tanks = a really fun part of the game.
Hahaha---> :side note: As I type this, my new kitten Max is attacking the Antenna Animation on the webpage. Thats funny.
Anyway, the best looking part of the game (imo) was on the Russian campaign. Your sneeking to the trainyard through the big drainage Pipes and the Germans start unloading on it. The light streaming through the newly added bullet holes with the bits of smoke was just killer.
Definately gonna play it on the harder settings. ........oh Yeah, The Gewehr 43 should be nominated best game rifle of the year.
