SNF 8/4/2007 - Quake Wars 2 Demo

Sounds like we may try to form a group. I say sign into our teamspeak. 8.30ish maybe??

Torrent file for DL'ing QW: ET beta 2. It's taking me about 45 mins, your time will vary depending on your connection speed and who many ppl are seeding.

I will be there for sure. I am unsure exactly what time but will try to be on ASAP.

Maybe it will be more fun playing this as a team.

I could not get this torrent to work at all. I tried a few different computers. I searched and found another one that works though. So if this does not work for you just search http://www.mininova.org/ for it.

It took me about 6 min to get it 🙂

I never actually got a code. when I DL'd it, it gave me the original code I passed to Sarge. DOH

Well I waited until 10:30 EST, no one showed up so I am done for the night.

Yeah I played about 1.5 hours fo QW, and well the play was a touch better. Still not sure it's my type of game.

If you guys are up for trying it during the week I can stop by for a bit.

I played in warm up mode for sometime and was pwning with the QW version of the rocket launcher, the obliterator.
I am getting used to laying out the equipment more. Maybe it was the new map or the new beta but it seemed much better than the previous version. And that was not even really playing beyond warm up.

It's loaded, but I haven't had time to play yet.

So far, I hear positive things. That's a plus!

I was actually playing, but didn't fire up ts.. I didn't see anyone in there except your admin name... didn't realize it was you. xfire showed no one as playing

Ah, the old, "I don't see anyone in TS, so no sense joining it" routine. I'm familiar with that one 🙂

I wonder how many times two or more ppl are thinking that. I know I'm guilty of that, quite often. I used to fire up Xfire and figure that was enough, until I found out a week or 2 ago that some folks are checking TS and ignoring Xfire.

I check both.....

I even left it running for a 1:1 ratio of UL:DL.

A ) I had both accounts logged into TS so it was not just the admin one.
B ) I even loaded the front page to make sure both showed up.
C ) I made sure I was in game and had X-fire running.
D ) I was on from 8:30 to 10:26PM EST.

next.

I admit I look for people in TS all the time and sometimes do not check Xfire if I am in the other room on my laptop. So I check TS and auto load the font GR page.

Point is I was in TS, on both accounts, and even "IF" you did only see one act, why not join and sit in TS anyway? WTF?
