Sign up and post back with your particularly good, or interesting, stats. I'm willing to bet everyone here has one suprisingly good stat. Apparently, I'm 'L33T with the anti-tank. . .but I have more deaths than kills (don't think this screen shows that). That's what happens when a man on foot goes up against armor :shock:

I'm ranked about 25,000th in terms of total game time. . . God I need a life.

I remember now why I don't look at my stats that often. Makes me feel really mediocre at this game :? . One thing is clear though - I need to spend more time in Armored Vehicles to be a proper stat whore 🙂

I am happy to see that I have knifed people more times than I have been knifed though - It's just plain embarrassing if it were otherwise 😉

We could set up a clan page for this as well if we wanted.

Doc, 800 with AntiTank. WOW!

They should parse out the AA kills though. 95% of them have been helos, 4% infantry, jeeps and armor, 1% jets 🙂 .

Your headphones will help this. It's easier to hear ppl walking/crawling up on you. Most every time I've been knifed , I heard someone but thought it was a teammate, or was willing to risk it NOT being a teammate because I was concentrating on getting a kill. A few times I got stabbed in a firefight, but mostly it's when I'm lying in wait with c4/at/sniper rifle

Sarge, can't look you up in stats (just use Docjon to find my stats). You have five more hours in tanks than I do. Not too bad, but yeah, a proper tank whore will need more than that 🙂

Due to the clusterf*ck that is the username situation in BF2, I had to substitute the @ for the a :?

Our clan profile is up. If you already have an individual profile at the site then you just need to edit your "Tracker Control Panel" to join the clan. Password is in the private section of the forums.

By the way, I am ranked first! Out of 1 people! I am 133t!

I joined but as usual nothing comes up for my stats. I see Sarge’s of course. My personal stats work but I do not get anything listed under rankings. Figures!

I swear this game does not track my stuff correctly. I could not even crouch in a tank until this latest patch.
So many games I killed 5 or 6 guys in a row only to see 4 total kills in the end. Something is really off and always has been. My score goes up so damn slow it is not funny. I guess I just suck so bad at games I do not know why I bother.

Looking at all this information is truly making me disgusted. Some days I am unsure I even want to keep playing.

Very odd. Looked a bit in their forums to see if others were having the issue, but didn't find anything.

Do you see how yours and sarges come up and mine does not or don't you see your own? I see that on my end anyway. No rank icon on mine either.

I honestly am not trying to be a whiner but it gets very furtrating when I know a lot of times I did better in maps only to get 10 points at the end. I really am thinking that something weird is up with the DB as far as my stats go.

Paladin, Contact the guys who run the site. I imagine they are the one's doing the clan stat stuff. As long as your individual stats are showing up, BF2 is updating.

As usual I just never worry about it. I always try to go with the flow. Just seems weird that this happens to me a lot. I am not going to worry abou it as I really do not care about rankings. 😉

Ah, just kiddin'. That was like the 3rd time I've bothered looking at my BF stats. My UT stats are much more impressive, even if I've dropped in the INV and CTF cats alot in the last 3 months. My INV clan was ranked #2, but our CTF clan rank changes hourly 🙂

Looking at the varing stats of other members of the team, looks like I should be spending alot more time on ranked servers to catchup.

I started a thread in the BFTracker forums to try and get Paladin's and Bubba's issue resolved.

I believe bf2s.com allows you to enter players onto a viewable ladder, just have to have the correct nicknames I had one with Atomm, Sarge, Bubba, Drix on it.

My stats (for past 9 months)= Everclear on one "so-so" night

My rankings are working, sad but working.

At the bottom of everyone's stat page is an "update player stats now" - if your stats aren't showing click it.

Everclear, I'm not seeing you as part of the group. Did you join?

Heh, you're at 10,500 for the anti-tank weapon (in Rankings), 32.000 with the shotgun, and ranked in the to 30, 000 for the AT kit. Not at all shabby for someone who just got their 8,000 points.

How many ppl play this game? The lowest ranking I've seen is almost 600,000. . .puts you in the top 5% of players for the AT kit and better than the top 2% with the Anti-tank weapon.


Bubba's ranked around 35,000 for carbines. . .

The rest of you guys don't seem to have found a niche, 'cause your stats are kinda well-rounded. Doesn't look like you have a favorite kit, although Sarge may be taking to Spec-Ops. . .Everclear's stats are still down, except for the basic stuff on the front page.

Having played with you guys, none of you are at all bad, but if you look at your stats and they aren't what you'd like, you just need to play more, and find a couple kits you really like. . .or. . .you could ignore your stats, which might make for more fun.

Hey Lexx. . .we need a pilot. . .if ground-pounding doesn't do it for you in BF2, take to the air.

I see a pattern here. Everyone's most played character is US but me. I typically let the game decide. I get the poor guns and team too many times. I may start forcing the US and hopefully some stats will increase. But then again, I haven't played on a ranked server in nearly 2 months. :-(

I prefer the non-US basic sniper rifle(semi-auto) and the non-US buggies (360-degree turning 50 cal mg). The only thing I like on US over the rest is the blackhawk guns. I don't really have a preference in the basic guns for each kit, and I usually use my unlocks anyway.

The only time I worry about what team I'm on is when friends are on with me. I only switch teams if the other team is short ppl. . .or I'm looking for a good squad to run with.

I have learned not to stick around in bad games, or with bad squads. That might make for a good thread: What do you look for in a game/squad/server, and what makes you go looking elsewhere?

Yeah I float with whatever team I get put on when the map starts, however if I notice things unbalanced I will switch.

On the other hand, I tend to "win" more rounds when I am playing the opposition. I almost always use the first onlock weapon (except for the medic where I use the G36E and assault where I use the default or the second unlock)

I never care what team I am on in BF2, I just go where my clan mates are.

I actually prefer the Opposition Medic with the AK47. It feels like being assault with healing.

I am still getting a feel for all the unlocks. I tend to go with the Spec Op in a pinch and play medic when my squad doesn't have one.

Of all the weapons in the game, the only weapons on the US side I prefer over the other teams are the Blackhawk guns , so of course I'm always on the US side. . .and I'm reknown for my blackhawk whoring.

I'm also forever coming into games with teams that don't know what TEAMWORK is, or what a squad is for. Hyman had to listen to me bitch on Teamspeak last night about how I was laying on the beach at Wake Island for FIVE MINUTES trying to get my squad to rearrange and SPAWN ON ME, instead of making several trips in a chopper or boat only to get blown up before they got within reach of land. I AM ALREADY THERE GUYS! ! ! I'd take a flag, but I know a jeep will arrive (or chopper, or arty strike) before one person can take a flag.

I eventually did try to take a flag. . .grabbed an unattended tank. . .chopper got me just before it turned. :wallbang:

Well, we have an armor specialist. . . a very good one. Now we could use a pilot or two.

Everclear has always been an armor guy. You did not want to run into him in a tank in Forgotten Hope at all.

We definitely could use a couple pilots. I like to fly the transport helos, but am not what I would consider "good".

I've been trying to learn the new dynamics of the helo. I cannot get planes down. Too bad Racer isn't around. He was the most deadly flyier I knew. I was above average with BFV helo's, but any good attack helo needs a GOOD gunner.

I have the moves down rather well.

I am on and off with that joystick for Helos. I think I am going to practice mouse again.
I only need to practice hovering, I can attack fairly well, especially with a good gunner.
I did have a few weird glitches last week I admit. I am not sure the damn thing just did not want to go up and I crashed twice on the TV tower map. Weird.

I LOVE flying and would do only that if given the chance to do it more. I just need a bit of practice in game.
I do not do it more because everyone is a damn chopper/jet whore and I rarely get one.

EC is also amazing in a helo. I can almost hold my own now, I just don't enjoy it.

No, you're not chopped liver. . . but you passengers are! :wink:

You can get from one place to another very reliably. . .more than I can do. . .but that's only half of the equation. You have to keep the chopper safe from AA and rival air power, at least some of the time. It takes more than keeping it in the air to make a good pilot in this game. 🙁

Like everything else in this game, it's tough, and not something you can excel at right away. Air power has the capacity to ruin everyone's day, so they make it hard. You have the capability to be better, I'm sure, but that will require more time and practice. With Thursday night UT2004 and all the mods we play, you're not getting the practice.

Can't say about your jet skills. You keep it in the air, and don't die from out-of-bounds punishment. . . again, much more than I can do. . .but you admit you need to work on the bombing, and I don't know how you are with the air-to-air combat.

As of now, we don't have a go-to guy to keep the air power off us, or to punish any armor parades ruining our day.

Don't worry about the hovering. . .worry about moving. Moving quickly, changing directions. No one hover-caps anymore, and a good hover just makes you a target for the AT guys.

Lexx used to be OK with the choppers (on his way to being more than OK), but I think he's even forgotten what keys he uses to fly. . . unless they have a UT2004 flying mod 😛

I used to be good, but way outta practice, and NONE with the latest patches installed. Primary reason I hate 64 player servers. The only time I've seen a chopper in the last month is from the sky :(

And yes I am on the ground plenty, but I suite my team & squad better being in Armor or Transport providing a mobile spawn.. or frustrating the other team so much they try to kill me rather then defend their flags 😉 I certainly didnt get those 73 knife kills in my tank either 😉 I'm an offensive player, I make sure there is a strong push & flanking attack present using blitzkrieg-like tactics that rarely fail to open up some sort of vantage point for the team..

Once NCAA basketball is over I should have some nights free to play now that 1.21 is out..

I so can't wait to be back on the prowl in my Tiger & King Tiger Sarge.. buhahaha... :twisted:
