Thanks to the many bullet magnets that I have crossed paths with over the last couple of weeks, my BFV performance has improved considerably. According to BFV Tracks, I am now ranked higher (and therefor am better) than Atomm! LOL. I have also nearly reached my goal of killing as much as I die. If it wasn't for that base raping that I was subjected to the other night in the Ia Drang Valley, I would be there.
Special thanks go to Bubba, who through his hard work and dedication launched me over the top last night by providing me with such a great target for my trusty M14 and M16!

And sarge.....psst....having a buddy log into a public server and stand still while you fire isnt really the best way to up yer stats LOL. Dont deny it!! hehehehehe
heh... I haven't really been playin for a week or two much, just a night here and there to keep fresh... Work's picked up a lot too and being single again is pulling me away from the computer more than before.

Actually it is the best way, well the easiest anyways. LOL. Bubba wasn't standing still (too much). It was pretty funny from my end, I just had his number on a relatively unpopulated server with lots of open space and no good helo pilots. I am pretty sure that I was the best pilot there, which is not bragging by any means. I would see someone, shoot, and it would pop up "|GRB| Sarge [M14] |GRB| HeyBubba" like every other time.
I am just trying to raise Sarge's self esteem a little. Hopefully this way he can do some work at the office. 😄 Just kidding Sarge Seriously though, our office IP probably has more hits to the GRB page in a day then any other page.
I miss the old GRB stats page where you could see who your top assassin was and all the other stats.
Hey, stat's don't matter, it's how you play as a team.. 😛 Nah, I'm surprised I have increased my Kill Death ratio tremendiously. I use to only rate about .43 but now I'm .81. Yea! Almost a 1 to 1. I could play the way I want but ya'll prolly not like me much to be on the server. You'd almost wanna call me a smacktard.

I would like to add it back, but I need to read up on how to make the old code work with BF42. There were some problems, but I know some people managed to get it working. With life being so crazy lately, I just haven't had time to dig through that. Sounds like a good winter project. :-)
While I would like that, I pretty much ignore my stats in my sig now too, because Ive noticed that sometimes I start to pay waaaaay more attention to my stats than I feel like I should be doing. It starts to make it less fun.
I do like to keep an eye on em from time to time though, because it is an indicator of progress, but in pubs I play as engineer alot and it makes my K/D low.
I just don't like it because I think come match time, you give me an AK or a CAR and I can really own some folks...
I'm with Breaky. I do a lot of things in pubs that would hurt my stats. I love taking tanks on as an engineer. If I die blowing up a tank, I feel like it was worth it. I think I could raise them quite a bit if I actually tried. I'm just here to have fun, stats be damned.
No matter if you play your ass off, just to even out your K/D ratio, it can be totally ruined in 1 "bad" round.
And if you check the Stats page now, You will see alot more deaths for me. I had "The Curse of Bad Timing", and my scores looked like 2-13 and 4-16. 12 of the deaths on the second round. I woke up, and went straight back to the spawn screen. lol
I hear ya LoU. The same day I posted this I went and played and got my ass handed too me for three rounds in a row. One round this guy was completely base raping with a helo and I died many times trying just to get out of the way but the rest were legitimate.
