    Yea, that's a bit much. At the least, the innocent bystanders should of had Turbans and AK-47's.

    While I own a few AR's - when TEOTWAWKI comes...... the AR's stay home.

    That's actually pretty cool Duck. I didn't even know they did that.

    So, umm, is modified fully auto? :-)

    Way back in the early 90's when I worked in sporting goods for Wal-Mart, we sold SKS's. Between those, the M-1's, AR-15's and Bull Pup shotguns we were sourcing directly for our store, Wal-Mart sent out a country wide memo banning what we were doing. We had a lot of connections for sourcing guns back then. :-)

    The coolest thing I ever sold back then was a matching set of Engraved Browning Over and Unders with back to back serial numbers for a Guy and his Toddler son. He spent a lot of money on them.

    When the country went affirmative action and elected husein - it was no surprise the firearms and ammo industry went bonkers.

    Me (obviously) included - I ended up purchasing 4 AR-15 receivers all with (as you said) sequential numbers ending in 40, 41, 42, 43

    I just had to get the serial numbers bought "just in case"

    Wal-mart, K-Mart, Sports Authority are the Nations top three gun stores - kind of strange.

    Atomm was talking about the early 90's - well before the current president 😀

    Would have been Bush Senior or Clinton at that point I guess.

    i ordered my first assault rifle, a 1954 izveshkiviviatola arsenal SKS, pinned at the prerequisite 5 round, canadian rules magazine. along with a 1200 round crate of ammo.

    itll go full auto, (if i dont clean it), however it wont be that impressive with the 5 round mag.

    Funny rules between Canada (eh') and U.S.eh'

    You have no problems when your weapons malfunction from operator error (don't clean your bolt - watch your SKS roll on!)
    We don't clean our bolt and we break the fire arms act of 1934 -

    Violations of the Act are punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison and forfeiture of all devices or firearms in violation, and the individual's right to own or possess firearms in the future and a penalty of $10,000.

    - For not cleaning our bolt's carbon build up - pisser huh?

    YES in case dear reader you are wondering - the BATFE has prosecuted and won cases of "oops" and won - individuals are in jail for not knowing the law as it relates to them.
