Last night while Sarge and I were playing BF Pro at the iCe house, I had what I would call a million dollar shot.
It was South of Caen, a really fun custom map that we've played before. I was inside the white wood shed and a guy from the other team grabbed a jeep and bolted due east from me through a slight rolling hilly area. I happened to have a panzershreck and thought if I could shoot at him, he might see the shot and turn around. There was no way I was going to catch him on foot, so I pretty much shut my eyes, aimed at the last place I saw him topping a hill and pulled the trigger.
He was quite a ways from me. Next thing I know, the shot is dropping just over the ridge. I can't see this guy and boom! He and his jeep shoot straight up in the air where I could see I got him.
I let out a big Woohoo to everyone and he said, Imagine my suprise. LOL, I told him that I was probably more suprised than he was as I didn't even expect to come close. That makes twice I have gotten a million dollar shot. I'll never forget that shot.
It was great fun and we should try to get more guys on if they do BF Pro night again. The vehicles seemed to move a bit faster and the sounds were really well done. Add to that a few of the better custom maps and it's a pretty good mod.
I'll never get a shot like that again, but I'd still play this mod again.
