(Lots of laughs, a dev replied..... that they hasn't thought of that)

Base = 1,000 HP
Bombers destroy base
Fighters destroy bombers and each other - to allow bombers to kill op base.

Dev said on forum "information forthcoming", but a PM from a dev was "ssshhhhhh"

They also said joystick support should be supported.

Looking forward to it - there doing well with up dates, and balancing Tanks - hopefully Planes and then Ships will also be well done for "free" games too.

This is the first I have heard of World of Tanks, and it looks spectacular, and World of Warplanes looks very cool. Thanks for this!

Tanks is a lot of fun. Bit of a grind at first because the level 1-3 tanks pretty much suck. Fun really begins at level 4 when you start to get tanks that can take and deal damage and move at a speed above a slow walk (in some cases).

Duck is the guru for all things Tanks in these forums if you decide to play it.

Hadaka - I'm hooked on Tanks - BAD.... it's my electronic crack.
Typically my Friday night romp with Joe (you have not seen yet)
More than happy to drag you along - unfortunately its a level dependent type game and if you were to start now with our tiers you'd be overwhelmed (not skill but our level of tanks vs your starting tank level) ....

Best thing to do is download the game (mostly free to play) get a feel for it - I'll start a low tier tank to run with you if you'd like,

The next patch - 7.1 out within 3 months will be adding the French as a nation, so there will be whole new trees to work on Artillery, Tank Destroyers, Light, Medium, Heavy tanks.

I plan on starting a new tank(s) in that tree too - so may be a good opportunity then also to run some platoons.

Presently you can platoon with 3 friends - in future updates it will be raised to 6 friends in a tank platoon.
