Looks interesting. . .I've started the DL at fileplanet. . .only 2 west coast servers havve it there, but I'm getting over 600KB a sec, and I'll have it in another 20 minutes.

This is very clearly trying to be Desert Combat. Some really cool aspects though. I took part in a monster tank battle at 73 Easting with no bombs or rockets raining down on me 🙂 I could see our formation training that we did with Everclear in FH coming in really handy for that map 🙂 Infantry map of Basrah Streets is pretty nasty (in a good way). You can hear the planes come screaming in at you on a bombing run - Especially the A-10.
This is the most entertaining of the major mods that I have played so far.
Well, Atomm was saying we need a new game to play awhile. . .it would be nice if this fills the need. I've been waiting on a worthwhile mod since Half-life 2 & UT 2004. Jailbreak is nice, Chaos mod is good fun, but nothing has grabbed me like Day of Defeat did(when it was a Half-life mod) or Tac-ops (for original UT)
Ghost Recon looked cool too, but moves slow, and most unforgivibly, when you die you stay dead until end of round. A ghost recon mod where ppl move faster and respawn at back base with tickets deminishing would be cool. . .a no-vehicle BF2.
I have it and have played it. If you liked Desert Combat for BF42, then you will likely enjoy this mod. There seem to be plenty of servers out there still.
