Atomm, since traffic is slow to dead on our server all week except maybe FnF's, could you set the server up for IO and just 3-4 city maps on rotation? I swear we could fill that server many nights if it was IO and city maps only. Most IO servers are either full or run by a' wipes.

IO is the closest I've found BF to fit my UT cravings 🙂 I'd even be willing to admin it since I don't have any current UT responsibilites at the moment.

I just hate seeing the server go to waste.

Yes... that would be nice.. set it to IO until there are enough GRBers to play something else perhaps?

I don't have a problem with just city maps if you get sick of the air power. Or make the maps a size that excludes jets. IO itself is okay but the vehicles, tanks, jeeps etc.. is what makes BF2 fun. IO is kind of boring really. 😉

...so what does it take to unlock those sniper weapons? might give me a chance against vehicles...

And i love the ground vehicles.. nothing like getting in a chenowth and then bailing right before it destroyes itself in the water so you can get a quite shooting spot.

First sniper unlock is the Barrett which can shoot through windshields, including helos. Good luck with that .

congrats on the rank up oh great master of the wiki links..

So i just have to make it to Lance Coolie to get my sniper rifles.. soo close, if the week is good to me then I will have it by Friday. Depending on if I keep sniping snipers of if I go back to Assault Sniper and get a few dozen flags.

That rank structure is jacked, no Master Sergeant would ever become a Sergeant Major only First Sergeants, and definitely not to a Sergeant Major of the Corps.. and why do privates get crossed rifles? -shakes head- Its a shame. Good thing it tis but a game.

Now to start working on my Purple Heart.. those 5 kills are gonna be tough.. j/k
