    This Zip contains 3 folders.

    1. WaterMesh
    2. Merkywater
    3. Glossywater

    1. Watermesh is a folder with 3 files
    a. o_Watermesh.m1.rs
    b. watermesh_ring_m1.rs
    c. watermesh_streak1_m1.rs

I copied these files from the level Defense_of_Con_Thien. Insert these files into your map's Standardmesh folder for realistic watermeshes.

    2. Merkywater is a folder with 1 file. "Glossy top but can't see through"
    *levelwater.rs

Insert this file into your map's Standardmesh folder for merky water, that you cannot see well through.

    3. Glossywater is a folder with 1 file.
    *levelwater.rs

Insert this file into your map's Standardmesh folder for glossy water, that will look greay on ocean maps.

*Note: you cannot have merky and glossy water due to the same name and location of files.

Also note, these files are given as a helper and guide. Feel free to tweak each file for your desired effect.

I dont know how I missed this post. These sound really cool.

    questions?
    1. Does the 3 files in 1.Watermesh, give you 3 differant water meshes?

    2. When you say "insert these files in your map's standard meshes" , so does that mean you extract your map and add them, or just add them to the standard meshes folder inside of BFV?

    3. "these files are given as a helper and guide. Feel free to tweak each file for your desired effect. " How and what are you supposed to use to tweak these?

    ThanX

The first 3 files are the watermesh textures from the new 1.1 map. This will allow your watermesh object look like that in the new map.

You can add them to your map via extract your map and add them or you can just "add file to archive" in BCV. But make sure you place them in the standardmesh folder in your map. Not BFV.

I use notpad to change settings in the rs file. They are standard text files. I can't tell you what each item in the rs file does. I like to play around and change the numbers to see what it does.

I totally blew something while screwing with my water. I didn't attempt this fix, but another one where I grabbed the skybox and levelwater.rs from Ho Chi Alt. Now my water has absolutely no texturing what-so-ever. The best I got it was where the reflection didn't show the very top-most block of the skybox and there were really sharp pixelated, and black, highlights on the water everywhere. I need this fix badry:)

I have that a little on Ghost in the Darkness, Maybe there is another rs or possibly sm file associated with it.
