don't forget to throw some air buccs in there every once in a while, perhaps, like once a month. it would be good to play with a group who knows what they're doing.

Atomm AirBucs is hard to learn by yourself, but give someone who knows how to play about 5 mins on teamspeak and you'll have it down... It's not that difficult.
Ouch! I didn't know you had mobo problems. I hope it all works out. Dealing with computer problems is a pain in the arse. It's time's like those I almost wish I had a Dell.... Notice I said almost. 🙂
ahhh no no. I been using my old Athlon XP 2400 for the past 3 months. Right before Quakecon I bought an AMD64 3000+ system, but one of the DIMM slots went bad and I couldn't use it. I also got a WD Raptor 10k on it and had it all set up with everything installed when the DIMM failed. The RMA had to go back to Shuttle directly for some reason and it took like 8 weeks to process. Part of the reason I didn't want to reformat the rig I am using now is because I knew this one would be running again soon.
Hopefully this solves all my BFV problems, etc and I'll have a better system to run on now. Since I just kept the WD drive off the current system, all I SHOULD have to do tonight is just swap mobo and processer out of my case and turn it back on.... :crosses fingers:

i say, as far as map list, just put em all in there and now that you got the voting thing installed, that'll be alright. not sure where to get new maps, though. i guess just dig around fileplanet or any of the others? there's an airhockey table map that's pretty groovy, especially with 32 players. it's fuckin nuts.
also, look into antiTCC. it's an anti-cheat pack, but it also changes the scoreboard look a little, and it "tinks" when you get a frag. the "tink" isn't that big of a deal, but it's kinda nice to get some kinda feedback if shooting a really long distance and not knowing where you get the kill or not.
the good thing about stuff like antiTCC is that if the client doesn't have it, the server auto gives it to ya. so you don't have to try to find that mod or download the server is running.
Yes! I will make sure it is set to CTF. I checked the server before 8pm, but for some reason I got it stuck in my head that BR was right. Sorry about that.
It's on CTF now. I'll try to come up with some more maps to make things interesting. :-)
