My buddy and I were kicked tonight by who I'm guessing to be everclear.
We'd done nothing wrong other than kill him repeatedly. The only time I spoke was when spoken to, other than saying "smoochies" when killing everclear- which he started. It just so happens I have most of it screenshotted, in case you'd like to see.
It's sad that [CAT] would partner(and put their name) on a server so obviously run like half the rest of the lame servers out there. Kicking becausre you can't beat someone is a childish thing to do.
Gimmic, I told you to stop complaining. Then you did, then I saw about 10 minutes later you were kicked. I looked at the logs to see who had kicked you and it said it was a punkbuster kick for both you and your buddy.
So what you're saying- I was complaining about the team inbalance once or twice on FuShe Pass. As you said, I quit on request. I've been around the CAT server for a while and know how they like to run things.
Kubra dam came and the round lasted well into an hour, I was kicked at the very end after having a very good round against your buddy everclear.
The Punkbuster kick at the end that dropped both my buddy(who had not said a SINGLE word the whole round) and myself was done by "[Admin Decision]" It was not an automated kick. An admin did it, and I'm sure it was everclear.
Hey man I didn't have a problem with you, you said "my team sucks" repeatedly. I told you stop complaining or leave. Your buddy piped up to me. Then you shut up, I was good with you. You even tk'd me and apolgised, I didn't punish you. Then later you got kicked, I thought it was odd so I looked in the logs and it said it was a punk buster kick. That is all I can tell you. Maybe when an admin kicks it says it's a punkbuster kick, I don't know. I can assure you it wasn't me and I can also tell you we run a pretty lax ship here. We don't worry too much until people are obnoxious or break rules. CAT and GRB are doing this server together, we both respect each other and we both respect the friends of each other.
I was getting dropped from the server all night. It happens. Life goes on.
Okay, I took a few hours break and came back in, got in a jet and started bombing. I didnt say a SINGLE WORD AT ALL and happened to kill everclear twice. I want to stress- I did NOTHING other than spawn, get in an available bomber, and start doing bombing runs. If he's doing that on a regular basis you have to wonder how many others he's done it to who didnt bother posting about it, but instead just left to find a more quality server.
I'm now permanantly banned by punkbuster for "Admin decision". (see below- note it was done from a web admin panel)

This isnt the first time i've dealt with childish admins, usually I just say its time to find a more quality server. The problem in this case is that I used to play with the [CAT] guys on a very regular basis and I already know they're cool players. I'm trying not to let one rotten apple ruin my opinion of this merged server but its getting a bit difficult. I'd even chimed in on the PBF thread about the place, hell.
I'll chime in on this. I was on your squad on Dalian Plant. Both you and Monky were in planes. Both of you did noting but go after Everclear. I listened to the conversation and had no problem with it.
The way I see it, EverClear is a damn good player and you guys find it challenging playing against him. It's obvious you guys find it a challenge. However, it appears emotions got a little out of hand. Hell, even I get ticked going up against him because he is so good. That doesn't mean I'm mad at him. It just means I get frustrated because he is so tough to play against. So what. That's part of the game and he makes me a better player when I'm on his team or going up against him.
I suggest the next time you play, join up with EverClear. It is great fun being on his squad. He's a good guy who did something out of frustration. It appears you are doing the same thing right now.
We'll take care of the ban and I'll talk to EC. But like I said, the next time you play, don't play against him. As crazy as it sounds, I bet you wind up having a good time.
As far as playing with him we'll see. I don't really have any urge to play along side someone who has shown themselves to be such a disrespectful and abusive admin. I won't be saying a word to him either way, but I'm sure I'll be seeing him on the Battlefield.
Hey, just stopping in to say that I was having a blast that round, we kept annihilating the advances to take our airfield in kubra damn (as mec), and it was a good deal of fun. Everclear's luck was low on that map as he kept driving forward action vehicles (the little dune buggies) right at me, which i kept hitting with my rockets, as well as some good infantry fighting that left a couple of one man victories for me heh. To counter that, the previous map, everclear had spent a good amount of time circling our airfield and shooting up our fighters before we got off the ground.
I think he was frustrated by the dramatic turn of tables and perhaps by playing on the same map too long (it was a long round). It was in poor taste for him to kick us, just because we put up more of a fight then the rest of our team (i checked the scores a few minutes before we where kicked and we both individually had 3x the kills anyone else had on our team).
Either way, forgive and forget, and try to have fun I guess. I've been getting kicked/banned for being too much of a challenge since 2000 so i'm more or less used to it.

You guys may not see it, but there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on to make the CAT/GRB server a great place to play. Because of two groups running things, we gotta work out the bugs and get everyone on the same page. In addition to that, we have started giving out admin rights more freely than in the past. We wanted to make sure the server stayed smacktard free.
Like I said, EverClear is a good guy. He just made a rash decision. In order to prevent this in the future, both groups are working out a set of server rules, so all the admins know what is expected, allowed/not allowed. This is just a learning experience for all of us. In the end our goal is to have fun.
BTW Gimmic, I removed your ban. Let me know if you have any problems.
I don't know EC's side of it, but if you guys were going after him repeatedly, he may have taken it as a couple of punk kids be tardasses or something. 🙂 The server rules are pretty lax from what I have seen, but stupid kids get kicked pretty easily.
I am NOT saying you guys were being that way, but I can almost guess that was the way your play style was taken. 🙂 I personally am glad someone was killing his ass, as I seem to have an impossible time of doing it myself! HAHAHAHA!!!!!
So come back and get your game on guys, I will team up with you to beat up on EC hehhehehee, I owe him about 1000 kills!
Hey! Can be ban that |GRB|Raze guy. He's about the only one that I know that can get killed in less than 30 second intervals. Even on occasion when he does stay alive for more than 30 seconds, and make his way to an enemy base, within seconds of entering it, bam! He's dead again. I think there is something fishy there if you ask me.
