World of WarCraft Stress Test

If you are a file planet subscriber go get the 1.8gig download so you can have the first look at WoW.

Well, not really sure how big this damn thing is. So far I have pulled right at 2 gigs. And it is still downloading 🙁

finally got done with the download. It shows to be a 2.2 gig zip. The damn'dest thing was that the download counter got up to a little over 2 gigs, then started counting backwards to 1.8. I was starting to get pissed that maybe this was only stress testing the downloads...hehe Well off to install this bad boy, more updates to follow.

Oh yeah, this is going to be great post count++ 🙂

Damn, just read my email from them:

Oh well, it is installed so now just have to wait

Well, sorry that I have not really been around much.... I have been at my computer it is just this damn game. I have a feeling once it comes out I CANNOT buy it. Why you ask? Because I have been playing it too damn much. It is addictive as hell.... never thought I would actually get into a game like this but I just can't stop playing it. Guess once they close the stress test I will get my break from it. 🙁

I'm concerned about the same thing. I'm worried that if I start playing it, I will not get anything done. I've been down that path before. I don't want to go back.

The bad news is it is only good until the 12th. 🙁 I'll probably get one day to actually do anything with it. Oh well, at least I get to see it.

Ahhh craptastic!!! I got that email too... Fine fine fine... I can wait...

I got 3 level 6 characters already and the game is pretty damn good. However, being a 5 year veteran of EQ and reaching level 65 and taking my character through about 60% of the end-game, I'm thoroughly sick and tired of this type of gaming. I'm going to wait on these games until the graphics and physics engines rival Unreal 3 and HL2. I'll give them ALL a shot, but no way can I sink into it again cause that's some engrossing ass shit that never lets up on requiring you to be there.

I'm one of about 4 people I know that has sat in spot in a video game, with literally nothing to do for over 100 hours waiting for an object that turns out in the end to be obsolete by design. That and talk about the worst kinds of people on earth.

Well for all that is starting up... KoNeo and myself are in the server YSera as Undead. Since this is like the 5 character for me to restart I will not be changing again! Currently I am a lvl 11 warrior and koneo is lvl 9. So if anyone wants to be a mage it would totally rock!!!!
