there were 2 for me tonight... I was drunker than shit. I worked for an hour trying to work it off, then called my wife and had her come pick me up.

I actually saw a dead basking shark when I was in Maine quite a few years ago. I remember it was big news cause one hadnt been seen in forever.

I just wanted to point out that Bubba sounds like a REEEAAALLLLYYY funny drunk.

• Sees odd things that aren't there? Check.
• Thinks he's Earnest Hemingway, and writes better than he does when sober? Check.
• Pretentious, old-form English? Check.

I just hope Bubba doesn't decide everyone needs to fight bulls or catch record-breaking fish on light tackle. . .or wrestle in loincloths. I always thought Hemingway was one of those guys who would get drunk with you, then kick your ass, then drink with you some more.

My single favorite book ever. I am a big fan of Hemingway, always found I could relate to him. I would tend to think I am a fun drunk, though it doesn't happen very often anymore.
