BFG Video Dead

    Wow, I thought BFG cards were the top of the line. Looks like they are winding down the video card business in favor of PSU's and Laptop's. If you have BFG, hope you don't need to RMA it. If you are looking for a card and don't mind taking your chances, I bet there will be some good deals on BFG cards soon.

    Wow - I have a BFG in my back up box that's collecting dust right now. But at the time a few years ago it was an awesome card.
    I bought it from all the high praise NewEgg users gave it and I never had anything bad to say about it.

    Atomm, haven't read your article, but it seemed BFG was completely closing. Seemed they moved away from vid cards a little while back, so there isn't such a large offering from them as it is.

    I am a BFG guy, loved their products and did RMA a card in the past year. I really had in my head that I would never buy from anyone else. When I explore cards, I always filter on their offerings, so this is sad.

    Same thing happened to the last 3 vid card companies I loved. Number Nine Visual Technology Corporation, 3DFX, and ATI (when they made cards, not just chipsets).

    It should be noted, this claims to be a standard PCI card, not PCI-E or AGP. I haven't seen a PCI vid card since nearly 2001

    Very tempting. I need a DVI based video card for the kiddos old 1.8 P4. PCI would be fine.
