This is a pretty big workaround, but seems to have worked for a few people at planetbattlefield.

Since the rebuild of my machine yesterday, I have had one crash... That was in single player while I was setting up all of my controls...

Been playing on servers all night now with no issues... [Single player always crashed on me before as well]

Starting to find something really interesting about the patch and CTD. LoU, what maps do you have problems with? Do they have Helo's?
