I've said this all along.... The stupid fee's they've tacked onto our phone bills were a bunch of crap.

I was gonna post this yesterday, but didn't read it (I try to read before posting a link).

I think some places are still charging for TOUCH TONE SERVICE, and that was started in what, the late 60's, 1972, somewhere in there? How many ppl really believe that charge is still necessary, when it was put there to cover the cost of installing the touch-tone equipment?

Keep in mind, this is the same group that continued charging the 3% excise tax placed on Phones to fund the Spanish American war over 100 years ago.
