Ok so I am considering going to the SLI motherboard. I currently have the ASUS 6800GT 128MB card. But I wanted to know any opinions in regards to the whole PCI-Xpress that the SLI board would use. So far the only ASUS card made using PCI-X is the 6600 So would it be much of an upgrade and gain if I went with the 6600GT Card on that board instead? Possibly 2 of them. The Data Width on the 6600 is 128 while on the 6800 its 256. Oh the temptation of it all..
Dual Graphic Cards?

#2 For the most part, 2 6600's would be more oommph than a single 6800 GT, but at some resolutions/AA,AF settings, a single 6800GT might still have alittle more wallop than the 2 together. Anandtech and FiringSquad ( maybe Tom's Hardware ) have done some of the intial SLI results. Take a look at those for more info.
