Can someone see if the EFF website is down for you. http://www.eff.org

Was it Apple? I was trying to make a believer of a comcast rep who had never heard of Comcast 'traffic shaping' incident and noticed I cannot get to those eff docs... error 404. Wonder if Comcast is blocking it.

Reason for talking to comcast. My 20/2 connection was running about .2/.4 and a ping of 4000ms... they didn't think this was serious enough to warrant issue. They had me goto their Comcast speedtest which reported I was running at 40/8, while speedtest.org, speedtest.net and speak easy all said I was about .2/.4.

It's down for me as well on Time Warner.

Bubba, if their speed test shows the right speed, then your connection is fine. We use to have that argument all the time when I worked at the ISP. Sounds like it might be off network. The question becomes, is it one of their peers or outside of their peering. At that point, do traceroutes to the speedtests and see where the spikes are. If you see dropped packets or spikes on Comcasts network, you'll at least have something to go back to them and complain about. If it's outside of their network, you'll at least have the satisfaction of knowing their is almost nothing you can do to fix the problem.
