    Downloaded and installed that one... The welcome screen shows it as a release candidate.

    thats odd... there were release candidate directories, this was the fullversion directory it was also dated today. In HELP-about mine doesn't say rc

    I should note that the help screen does not show as a RC...

    And I will still be downloading it from the normal site to make sure that they get the credit for the record...

    I was just able to get through a second ago. Hopefully they have figured out that demand is far exceeding their server capacity.

    I couldn't get thru around 1-2 pm eastern, but I'm able to get thru now. I got it. Might wait awhile to install it though. . .haven't checked out the compatibility of the add-ons I use.

    many of the ones that I use are compatible. Apparently there is very little different in the Firefox release from the release candidate versions. I've been running those for a while without issue and probably 80% of the add-ins that I use are working now.

    At home I have:

    2 Pane Bookmarks
    Greasemonkey (although no scripts enabled at the moment)
    bbcodeXtra
    All-in-One sidebar

    at work I add in

    Zotero and Foxietunes

    All work with Version 3 except all-in-one sidebar at this point.

    Be aware if you just install 3.0 over 2.0 your fubar'ed. I can't do without the stop button or especially the tab plus options. Everytime I wanted to switch tabs I was hitting the bookmark toolbar instead. Not so good.

    I had to do a system restore to get back to a non working 2.004, then had to re-install 2. from a file saved on another computer.

    When tabs are movable to the bottom, let me know ;p

    Everyone has to do SOMETHING ass-backwards, it seems, and I guess putting tabs at the bottom is yours. 😛 I'm surprised someone else thought it was worth writing a plugin for that.

    My brain would asplode if I had to use your computer for five minutes. Same thing with Paladin, who has his mouse set like he's flying a plane for everything (reverse up-down).

    What, you don't like the tabs at bottom, blasphemy!

    And don't tell me your on of *those* peeps that don't click on reverse xaxis in every game. My kids are ass backwards from me too. Something wrong with em' I say 🙂

    Also for those that use Google Sync, it does not work with FF 3.x. They will not support it at all anymore, the team moved on to other things. I personally used it and really liked it. At least Fox marks will still work and that is not bad.

    I would like a finjian equal.
