I am lucky (Well not really since I knew that when I bought the house) to live in an area that seems to get the latest technologies faster than other areas. I do not think it will take too long to get it once they start kicking it out. There is a Verizon sub station (looks like a house actually) at the very top of my hill, about .5 miles away.

This is the first step toward a new TV provider. I am excited to see what they offer over my expensive Comcast cable.

Want to read something funny about Verizon? Did you hear about the inability for Verizon customer service or its supervisors to understand basic math? I heard the phone call a few weeks back. I should have shared back then I guess, sorry. Anyway I just came across the blog the other day.

Actually, I am in the only town around where it is SBC instead of Verizon.

We are living in my Grandpa's house, saving to get a house of our own. Trust me, FIOS will be a factor in the decision, right up there with commute to work and schools. :-)
