So I just bought CE, and its driving me nuts. The static items show up ok - but weapons, vehicles, myself and other players don't show up. I have scoured bungie.net and ms support sites and found nothing. I'm running a NVIDIA GeForce MX 100/200 card and just updated it to the latest driver. I have DirectX 9 and have reinstalled the game and restarted the pc a billion times. Any ideas?

#2 The best I could find was this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=829478#XS...123120121120120
check to make sure you have the full screen anti-aliasing disabled. That may help (or may not)
I could not find any specs on the MX100/200 at all which does not help. Do you know them?
What are the rest of your specs for your PC? Sometimes things like this can be unrelated to video even. -
#3 What family does that card come from?
I had a GeForce 4 TI200 and that game ran like crap. I played it one time at a LAN and uninstalled it. I enjoyed it on XBox, but playing it on my PC was a painful experience. You may, unfortunately, be in the same boat. -
#4 I have read that support page before - I don't even know what FCAA is, so I doubt I have it on. I looked and there was not option for that.
The card is in the GeForce 2 family, sorry I missed the 2 up there.
As for the rest of the pc - I don't really know. This is something a friend of mine made with extra parts to serve as a ConquerOnline machine, but now I want to play more games on it. I know its an AMD processor 2.6G - the rest Im not really sure about. Its running Windows 2000 (which I HATE) and I just installed Direct X 9.0c in hopes it would fix it (but it didn't). -
#5 oh and thanks for the input.....if someone thinks it may be some componet conflict issue I can look it up - Im just lazy now. -
#6 Friend of mine hooked me up with the answer

my card doesn't support pixel shaders 🙁 I wonder how come its listed as a supported card for the game. Those bastards!
Ironicly my laptop will play it.....just a cheap Dell with on board graphics. I have no detail - but I can at least play
