Hardware Request

I'm looking for a hand out here.... My folks computer is in bad shape and I'd like to upgrade it for them.

If anyone has these things laying around and wouldn't mind parting with them, I would be happy to pay shipping.

I need a P4 2.0, 2.4 or 2.5 running 400Mhz bus. I also need 512Mb DDR PC 2100 CL 2.5. I could use 2 if you have them.

I figured it was worth asking since most people have this stuff laying around collecting dust anyway.....

Atomm I might have both of those things. I will look when I get home. Anything else? I have probably everything else for a computer of that generation.

That would do it Bubba. It's a Dell, so not much I can upgrade besides CPU, Memory and Hard Drive. The hard part is the 400Mhz version of the CPU.

I would really appreciate it. I forgot how painful XP could be on an under speced system. I type faster than it can keep up with.... Sad....
