This was a very intriguing couple of sentences...

They've found two inexplicable planet-sized objects that for some reason are hotter than the stars they orbit. Scientists have never seen anything like this before.

"Does anyone know what they are?" asked Harvard-Smithsonian astronomer David Latham, standing onstage in a ballroom of astronomers Monday at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

Interesting... especially the objects that were hotter than the star it orbits.

That was exactly why I posted it. Can you imagine a planet hotter than a star that is not a star? That boggles the mind.

My theory is the planets are see through and we are able to see the heat from the star through the planet. Hey, my theory is just as valid as anyone elses.... 😛
