I actually got to walk into one at San Jose back in 2000. Then we saw how much it cost to do anything cool and turned around and left. 🙁

Yeah thats part of my worry, my job isn't gonna pay for me to be there. I can't pay $400 to be there so I had to do the free registration, which only allows me to see the vendors and the keynotes. Although a former colleague of mine will be there and he may let me steal his badge some.

Atomm, I invite you to stay at my house, I am an hour away via the subway. ;-)

I wish I could.... I've been burning up the vacation and sick time with the kiddo. Plus, there is the whole 8" of snow thing..... I'll stick with my 75 and sunny. :-)

Yeah I figure it's gonna be better than a hot poker in the eye. No, I am excited always fun to see lots of people that are more dorky than me, and many chubbier too!!

I was looking at this the other day... I don't know if I have the extra time to do it, but I know my boss would send me if I did.

BTW, It was a great time, it got me re-excited about linux, and I also found some real useful software.
