Does anyone have any recommendations for a plugin to Outlook Express that will filter out all of the spam? I know, I know, I should be using something else, but my hosting business email is in there and I hate redoing everything. I'm smart enough to keep it secure, but I hate the idea of installing a bunch of free spam filters without know anything about them.

BTW, I average between 100-300 spams a day between all of my hosting email addresses. It's killing me to filter through it manually.

I use a plugin for Outlook called SpamBayes. Works really well, but you need to train it over the course of a couple of days or weeks. Not sure if it will work with Outlook Express or not. Bubba and I also use it at work where I get considerably more spam.

Thanks Sarge. That was the one I was looking for, but I couldn't remember the name. It does not work with Outlook Express, but there is a standalone server that you can run between outlook express and the mail server. I'll check it out. Anything to get rid of all of this freaking junk.

Yeah, the standalone works well I set it up for an instance of Eudora.

I use SpamBayes too on Outook and it does real good. On Outlook Express I've been using SpamBully http://www.spambully.com uses the same style of filtering as bayes does.

I use SpanWeasel with very good success.

Thanks guys. I'll check those out. I'm using spam bayes, but I'm still doing the training stuff. It looks like it is going to work, but I may check those others out just in case.
