Trimming down windows

Here is an excellent article on lifehacker on getting rid of unneccessary windows programs and services.

I've always used manual methods of doing a lot of this stuff, but both the nlite and GameXP software look like they are worth a try.

nlite looks really cool. Might be worth making a small footprint VMware image to put the DRM version of Media Player on my computer to watch Netflix movies....

Yeah I found virtualbox that would keep small vms for me and used it for running crap software like quicktime...etc
