I am a big scripted TV watcher, anyone else watch many TV shows? Got any suggestions?

    My current favorites:

    The Walking Dead
    Spartacus
    The River
    Falling Skies
    Doctor Who
    Being Human (US)
    Lost Girl

If you are in the mood for a Police investigation drama, Watch "The Shield", easily the best cop show I have ever watched...7 seasons and the final season wraps up the entire show in a very awesome way...does not dissappoint!

Very dissappointed that Eureka has one final season...I am just glad they got enough time to rewrite the last few episodes to actually tie the show up. I hate it when SyFy cancels a show abruptly!

Warehouse 13 is a very good one too. I forget about shows I haven't seen in a while...Merlin is an excellent BBC show!

I highly recommend watching The River if you get a chance...only 8 episodes (currently on 7). I would say it is a cross between LOST and Blair Witch Project.

Wow, I'm surprised by all of the Eureka love. I'm a big fan as well. I'm also glad they at least got enough time to wrap it up unlike all the other great shows SyFy has canceled. When they canceled Eureka, I stopped watching Warehouse 13 on principle.

The Walking Dead - Currently my favorite show.
Big Bang Theory - Geeks Unite!
    Fringe
    Being Human (UK)
    Supernatural
Person of Interest - If you loved Lost, you'll enjoy seeing Micheal Emerson in this.
    Eureka
    Haven
    Merlin
    Chuck - RIP
    Falling Skies
Criminal Minds - I hate CSI, but there is something about this show and the whole profiling aspect that I love.
    Burn Notice
    Anthony Bourdain: No Reservation
Once Upon A Time - It's a watch with the wife show, but it's well written
Community - Just started this last season
    Gold Rush
    Auction Hunters
    Storage Wars

Dang, I watch way too much TV. If it wasn't for my Tivo, I'd never get through all of this.

As for The River, I was worried it would be canceled too quick, so I'm holding off until it gets further along.

Go back and watch the first season of Community....I think the 1st one is the best....also check out Parks & Recreation, it is a more dry humor but is absolutely hysterical at points. Modern Family is probably the best comedy out right now.

Burn Notice is a blast to watch, and I have been a fan of fringe for a long time...can't believe I left it off my list. I agree with Once upon a Time. There are times in Big Bang Theory where I am laughing to almost tears because of some nerd reference and my wife looks at me like WTF?

You think you watch alot of TV...I currently have 86 different shows stored on my Video server (I have my house networked with Media Streamers at each TV that can access my 6TB Video Server)

Some shows on my server that I haven't watched are: The Sapranos, Weeds, Damages (final Season), Mad Men.

The River was only picked up for 8 episodes and it looks like it may get cancelled after its first season...syndication might save it. I will let you know if it is worth watching even if it gets cancelled after its 8th episode.

Big Bang Theory brings me to tears sometimes too and my wife refuses to watch it with me. I figured being married to me, she'd at least get the humor, but no. The funniest part is her mom loves it and actually calls me from time to time to see if I saw the latest episode. It's almost like living in backwards world.

I've watched weeds from season 1 and loved it, but this last season was terrible. about 1/3rd of the way through, I just stopped watching it. I really think it's ran it's course.

I'm really surprised none of you watched the UK version of Being Human. It's a great show and I love the vibe of it. Even with a lot of the main characters moving on to other things, it's managed to keep a coherent storyline and the same vibe. I'm really loving it too.

Community was good at first then it really wore thin. I love Parks and Rec and Modern Family. Big bang is still a favorite as well, but it seems to be wearing out.

They say the Big Bang ep where Sheldon creates three person Chess is the top one to watch... some day I'll track that one down.

The episode you are looking for is Season 3 Episode 22 The Wildebeest Implementation

My wife's favorite is the Xmas special Season 2 Episode 11 The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis

Don't know why I didn't mention this before.

Sherlock. Another BBC show...2 seasons consisting of 3x 2hr episodes each. Excellent show!

Ever since they changed their stupid name I call it "Siffy". They have pretty much ruined their lineup.

BBC is really "americanizing" alot of their original shows. The latest Doctor Who had a more "american" budget and feel to it.

Any Doctor Who fans? This show is probably my favorite SciFi show at the moment.

Any Doctor Who fans watch Torchwood? If you haven't check it out...but push through the first 2 seasons. They are decent but very british and very slow....however the 3rd season was only 5 episodes and was basically a made for TV movie and was outstanding. The 4th season was the same only it was 10 or 12 episodes and was produced by Showtime. It was awesome!

FYI "Torchwood" (Doctor Who spinoff) is an anagram for "Doctor Who"

Torchwood is a great show... One of the reasons [the other being Spartacus] that we got Starz.

We watched all of the more modern Dr Who that was on Netflix.. We then got to the end and the season we were to be on was already half way in... So... Waiting on that...

Watched a show last night called "Testees" from the creators of Kenny vs Spenny. I have no idea if it is on a network somewhere as I watched it on Hulu. It is about these two losers who function as human test subjects for the drugs and other products made by "Testico". It is very, very, very wrong but also very, very funny. It is definitely NSFW.

Watched season 1 of Sherlock these past couple days...

Awesome show... And what I got to see of Moriarty, epic! [The sarcastic humor was great].

Only season 1 is on Netflix... Will see what I can do about season 2... Maybe Amazon? Will check.

Don't go the torrent route, although a good source lots of content owners monitor the torrents now.

I was impressed with the show and glad to see Steven Moffat was involved with the show.

Eureka Final Season started back up!

Yeah I watched a chunk of the Sherlock Homes. I liked the show, but some of the effects were downright annoying, like when he looked around a room seeing clues.

At least they gave the writers and opportunity to close out the season in a decent way. Unlike some networks *cough* Fox *cough*
