I'm installing BF2 on my test box that I currently have Windows Vista, Beta 2 Build 5270 loaded on. See how it goes. I did get a big nasty prompt saying BF was not tested on this platform to begin with. I'll let you know.

#2 Deamon tools 4.0 appear to work fine on it. -
#3 BF2 is a [size=18]NO GO on Windows Vista. BF2 does not recognize DirectX 10 -
#4 *shrug* there's a reason It's beta. -
#5 either that or there will be a BF2 patch to support DirectX10. I haven't tried Vietnam or 1942 -

LOL! Now that is funny..... -
#8 something about that jsut ain't right -
#9 I have a consiparicy theory about this... Here goes.
When 42 came out, DICE was an independent company. When BF2 came along, EA had pretty much wrapped up the purchase of DICE. EA being the "smart" company they are decided it was in their best interest to require everyone to purchase BF2 a second time once Vista was released. They could call it a new feature and charge at least $19.95 for it.
See, it's pretty simple actually.... -
#10 I repeat myself, something about that just ain't right. I bet Duck is in on the repurchase though -
#11 lol... -
#12 Attom let me boil your theory down (Bubba this means pictures for you) -
#13 I like it when Duck talks in a language I can understand. -
