    Microsoft put a steep discount on Windows 7 pre-orders starting about 20 minutes ago. If you are thinking at all of upgrading from XP or Vista (and are in the US), this is a bargain. The home premium is $70 off and Professional is $100 off. I bought mine via amazon where I had $30 in credit so I got the Home version for $20 😀

    Thanks Sarge, I ordered the limit at that price. I just hope the release is better than the version out now. I couldn't get it to install on my AMD machine.

    I have liked the RC a lot, it runs smooth and fast. I am surprised my bootup times actually decreased from XP.
