Is anyone here running Vista on their system?

Have you had any issues with crashes while running any games or anything?
I have numerous games that I can't even load right now. I figured I would get a lot of errors but wasn't sure if it was something I was doing or just that the updates aren't there yet, thanks.

Vista is a whole new animal and has a whole new set of problems and requirements. If it is a FPS that also uses Punkbuster, you must run it as Admin for Punkbuster to even operate.

If it's an older game, there is a chance it is not compatible.

If you have a Soundblaster XiFi card, then you need to install software from Creative Labs because Microsoft changed the way sound works in Vista and it had a direct impact on the sound cards that did special hardware processing.

If you give some examples of the games you are having problems with, we might be able to help.

So far, just Supreme Commander. Sometimes I will get a ways through a game and it may just stop and kick me back to Windows.

Do you know of any programs or methods to use that will monitor and let me know what the problem may be?

I'm not really sure if it is an issue with drivers or what.

    I'm running

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Windsor 2.8GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor
