XP exe that kills idle processes

    I came across this recently and put the following in a bat file and run it before I start my games.

    rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

    It kills all idle processes including any prefetch stuff!
    Not a big deal, but it can't hurt!

    I usually go through and kill them manually.

    Have you seen any problems after doing this?

    None so far, but I just started doing it this week.
    It'll probably save you some time by eliminating a few minutes of manual labor!!
    We know how you HATE manual labor!! 😉
