Doc, your story reminds me of Tim "Ripper" Owens from Judas Priest. He was fronting a Judas Priest Tribute band. JP wanted to get back together, but Rob Halford would have none of it. So, they turned to Tim and he became the new lead singer. They didn't miss a beat. Eventually, Rob returned and Tim left, but it was a cool story.
The Mark Wahlberg movie Rock Star was supposedly loosely based on this. Just like the movie portrayed it, Tim had to be in heaven.

Also it seemed to be one h of work to synchronize the Paranoid Rock vid, but man that sounds horrible. These "Zwitter" songs ain´t songs at all to my ears.
Really beautiful vids r the LZ ones and of course Simon, Garfunkel and Jimmy or Montrose, I prefer the 1. singers voice too. His voice stuck more to me. The same when it comes to Iron Maiden´s 1. singer Paul Di´Anno who was better i studio than live (Knowing that this is prob even tougher than saying that about Sammy)
Sure there r more funny vids than really really good ones and the Gabber vids you found were really soft songs too. I found a crazy ntl authentic one from guys that played on lots of open air festivals, in beer tents etc. when I was young

I'm not sure what the "NTL" stands for in "a crazy ntl authentic" but those are great vids too. It's not my usual listening fare, but they're great. I love the second one with the mellow violin and guitar, and the first one looks like it would be a blast to see performed live.

I will try my best to make sure its getting better with the time. And sometimes its a Time thing. At work I often have a whole 12 h where not much is happening and then all of a sudden there is a case that needs my attention. So I am breaking up very fast. At home I am still on a 52bit connection which will change in the next week cause ordered the fast one. But this was sawing on my nerv strings. And I have to admit, sometimes I come back later to edit my mistakes. That also happens when I realized that one of my posts was a tough one (I am a hot head and very intuitive thats also why spanish mentality comes much closer to mine) or there were misspellings. But maybe there r some rules or should be, because afterwards its not visible that it was an edit I made.

I'm not sure what all the little icons mean myself. Most of them sort of look like a ragged red bullet hole. I'm not sure why. . .maybe those indicate threads that I've started.
We used to have a pattern I was semi-familiar with:
White skull means you've read the thread.
Red skull means new messages in the thread.
A spinning red or white skull mean what the red and white skulls mean, but also indicated a "hot topic" or a thread with a lot of recent replies.
I've been trying to figure out what the five yellow squares next to the "Thread full of FAIL" title means.

I don't think I've ever mentioned this song. Someone here may know it. It's Chris Rea - Road to Hell. I bought the album in college, but it was one of those cases where this was the only song worth while. As awesome as I thought this song was, the other songs were horrible. Oh yea, you can tell the natural break, but this is actually Part 1 and Part 2 put together.
BTW Doc, which tour did you go see? I saw the Division Bell both nights at Texas Stadium. I had just started working at the radio station. One of my favorite memento's is the Pink Floyd Backstage Pass my boss gave me. He got to meet them, I didn't, but that pass almost made up for it. Maybe one of these day's I'll scan it.
